Just like the short sleeve version, our Men’s Tailwind Long Sleeve Fishing Shirt is a modern take on the traditional fishing shirt, combining a clean and classic silhouette with high-performance details so you can stay out longer and fish more comfortably.
Rather than simply tweak a few features on a freshwater fishing shirt, we started from scratch to build the best saltwater angling shirt we could build. We began with a super-soft 100% recycled poly material that has just the right bit of stretch for a fitted look, flattering drape and full range of movement. The material is also quick-drying, abrasion resistant and moisture-wicking so it always feels cool and soft against your skin. The long sleeves allow for complete sun coverage down to the wrists, but if you want to roll up your sleeves, the cuffs have an elasticized button closure tab so you can simply pull up your sleeves and they’ll stay put, out of the way.
For the overall shape, we made it a bit more streamlined and fitted with integrated chest pockets — 2 with vertical access via corrosion-proof zippers and 2 slightly larger pockets with horizontal access via hidden snaps. The chest pocket also has a cord loop to securely store keys, a power pole remote or small fishing tool. The straight bottom hemline falls at just the right length to be untucked, creating a more drag-free wading experience. The collar has hidden internal snaps at the collar points to be worn open or buttoned down. Finally, the Tailwind has been treated to naturally repel stains and wrinkles so even after a full day of fishing or boating, the shirt holds its shape and looks sharp.
