Sustainability & Conservation

Our commitment to sustainability and conservation shows up in our practice, product and partnerships. This means that we pursue, catch, release and harvest fish ethically, that we design and manufacture products with the long view in mind and that we collaborate with organizations that share our respect and devotion for the resources, habitats, environments and traditions of the sport we love.

PRACTICE

As passionate anglers who prioritize time on the water, we’re at the front lines of conservation, stewardship and sustainability season after season. We have the utmost respect for the resources and habitat that make up our incredible Texas saltwater fishery. In order to preserve and protect these resources for future generations, we take great care in the management of the Texas Gulf Coast environment through our own fishing practices, advocacy and ongoing product development.

PRODUCT

We believe in designing innovative products, utilizing the most up-to-date materials that reduce environmental harm in both their production and maintenance. Additionally, we’ve created a line of fishing clothing and gear that sets the quality and durability benchmark in the industry. Our gear is made to withstand the harsh elements and still be used over and over—this means less waste over the long term. Additionally, we have developed products (like our Boga Grip and Catch Commander scale holster system that works in tandem with our waders) that allow tournament anglers to carefully and quickly handle, weigh and release fish in their home waters.

Partnerships

Whether it’s a donation of our time, money or products, we work with and support organizations that share the same ethos as we do, especially the Coastal Conservation Association in Texas. Their advocacy for strong local fisheries, on-the-ground habitat restoration and strong voice with lawmakers and governmental agencies is something we believe in and will continue to back.
