As anglers, waders are one of the most critical piece of fishing gear that we own, and in most cases, one of our biggest apparel investments. Because of this, the Coastal Wader is our design and execution high watermark. It’s a flagship fishing product that embodies everything that we’ve set out to accomplish at Southerly. They have been a labor of love and focus since we started, compiling multiple seasons of trials, testing and feedback from our team of saltwater angling ambassadors and guides.
And while the Coastal Waders are packed with features and details, what is most impressive about them is that they are designed so that you forget about them and just focus on the fishing. We’ve built them to be intuitive for saltwater fishing—pockets where you need them, storage solutions that keep things out of the way, high-quality, corrosion-resistant construction that you can count on, extra layers and reinforcement in the places where waders most often fail. It’s a wader that shows up for fishing, every day that you want to head out.
Aside from all the storage — interior dump pockets, waterproof chest pockets and hand-warming pockets — we put a ton of thought into making the Coastal Wader extremely comfortable. We made them with a waterproof YKK Aquaseal zipper to make getting in and out easy after a long day. They have a foam padded adjustable harness for over the shoulders to customize the fit to be the exactly right. There are MOLLE attachment points throughout so that additional accessories are secure and balanced. The neoprene stretch feet are form fitting and the gravel guards are made of bombproof kevlar to keep sand and debris out. It comes in an extended size run so there is the ideal size for almost any angler.

Returns are eligible within 30 days of purchase. Items should be unworn, with original tags attached and proof of purchase.
