Capt. Chase Blackwell is a full-time fishing guide based in Corpus Christi, currently residing on North Padre Island. Originally from Cuero, Texas, Chase developed a passion for fishing while spending time in Rockport, Texas alongside his father and brother. Chase pursued higher education at Texas A&M University in College Station for one year, during which he obtained his captain's license. He subsequently continued his studies at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi for another year before fully committing to a guiding career.

At just 23 years old, Chase has already achieved notable success in fishing tournaments throughout the Texas Gulf Coast. Highlights include 1st Place finishes in the Corpus Christi Saltwater Legends Series in ‘21, ‘23 and ‘24, 1st Place finishes in the Professional Redfish League in Port O’Connor in ‘23 and ‘24, as well as a 1st Place Team of the Year Award in the 2022 Saltwater Legends Series. Chase's accomplishments reflect his fishing dedication and skill, establishing him as a prominent figure and emerging force in the local fishing community.
